GMR Nursing Institute is the first government approved nursing institute established in Khulna, one of the largest divisional cities of Bangladesh. As the world progresses so fast, the demand and competition for all professions is increasing. At the same time, the nursing profession is now gaining acceptance as a challenging profession. Keeping in view the progress of the country and global demand, GMR Nursing Institute is currently conducting two courses; Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery (75 Seat) and Diploma in Midwifery (30 Seat). So far, 500 students have passed the Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery course in 10 batches and are working in various health care institutions in the country and abroad. In this regard, more than 350 students of this institution have got government jobs. As the GMR Nursing Institute is a part of the 500-bedded Gazi Medical College Hospital, the students of this institution have the opportunity to complete their clinical practice and internship at Gazi Medical College Hospital. According to the BNMC policy, we have 7 self-contained labs and experienced teachers in all subjects. At the same time, we have our own residential hostel with full security. Since 2019, GMR Nursing Institute has been ranked among the top 10 private institutes approved by the government of Bangladesh.
